As with many voluntary organisations, the DMRT don't have the resources (time or budget) to be able to concentrate on their visual communications. The DMRT needed a new website that had to be well structured, easily updatable, fresh and contemporary. they wanted their website to be the central hub for mountaineering in County Donegal.
Mandatories were that the DMRT member badge are to remain the same as they are used on vehicles and uniforms. The final design had to be presented to DMRT members were they gave back feedback on the designs.
