JP SPORTSBOOK, on facebook started a jersey design contest  to help new and upcoming designers showcase their skills and come up with a new 'brand swag/ jersey' for their brand.

I am Timothy Maarv, a logo designer and illustrator from Nigeria. This is my first project here and my first jersey design. After seeing the ad for the contest, I came up with and picked the best four I could come up with

Contestants are allowed to come up with as many designs as they could(which is a good thing), but these design(s) had to be original, which is a very difficult task considering the number of football clubs we have in the world, I, however looked up tons of references on Google and Pinterest and picked these four designs because I couldn't see any other designs that exactly matched the ones I came up with.

I started my designs with basic ideas of what I had sketched on my drawing book.

Created 2d flat coloured illustrations to get a peek of what they would look like in realtime. Enjoy the project!
