Understanding:

The concept of time for this project is to show time through an image. Time can be short or long.

I want to communicate the length of time and how it is deployed in one or multiple compositions. 

My goal is to learn and plan how time can convey in many different types of photography 

Research:

These images are just simple google "time" images to give me a basic sense of what the concept is meaning.

These are 3 different types of compositions that show time. I can use food, movement with Sutter speed, time lapse of the day. 

Time can be shown through movement and long exposures.

Generating idea:

•rooting apple

•welting rose

•swing with 3 different ages of female or male

•3 different aged women holding balloons at the same height but different length string

•still model with moving cars, people, lights

•time lapses of the city

Planning:

•Take a night photography shoot for a still model and moving car lights around it.

I can shoot anytime till the sun goes down fully.

I will shoot in a median on wildcat parkway

•get a bung of roses and take a Time lapses of the, welting

shoot overtime at the same time with sun and in the same position.

Cut each image into horizontal strips and arrange them to look as one image.

Process:

Heres the image I chose with no edits or alteration

I experimented with back and white but like the colors better

my basic adjustments for Lightroom

I used the masking brush tool in Lightroom to blacken the background and lighten the model.

I had a street sign in the image that I hide with the mask brush. 

Results:

Fails: I was a very easy photo to shoot, not huge on composition and doesn't have to much action happening

Successes: I did well at editing the photo in Lightroom with basic adjustments and to create a fuzzy feel to the image. I did well at using log shutter speed to get light trails but still keep the model form looking blurry.
