4 individual shots combined in Photoshop using the blending modes to get one final image, some color grading an that's it... You have your Pumpkin on fire!!!

Shot 1: With 2 studio flashes / blue gel for the Background / Orange gel for the pumpkin.
Shot 2: Same two flashes with gels but now with a low fog machine for ambient.
Shot 3: Practical light / Just exposed for the fire burst / No studio flashes / 1/1000
Shot 4: Same as shot 2 but with the top of the Pumpkin.
