UX/UI Profile Presentation
Brief look at the (thought) process
A couple of month ago, I came across this career opportunity
which I was keen on trying out for a long time.
Hence, I wanted to brand myself using a profile that would impress the viewers.
Over 24 working hours were put into this project [excluding printing related efforts], and
I came up with this profile which got me the result I desired.
Four Sections
Cover Letter + Résumé + References + Feature Portfolio
Entire profile consisted of four main sections while each section limiting to maximum of two pages. Intention was to enable the viewer of the printed profile to navigate through important section
at ease.
Typography
Less Distractions. More Clarity.
Using graphics would be distractive and some potential viewers of the profile might have different opinions on ultra graphical looks on a résumé.
Using typography was my personal preference since it could be much effective against the most, and it allows scanning through the profile with ease while focusing on the areas that matter.
Information Architecture
Usage of Content + Colors + Icons
Tons of content needed to be in just two A4 size pages;
Professional Experiences, Awards, Academics, Professional Certifications,
Skills, Tools of Trade, Interests, and Sports.
To keep it all bit more lively, custom flat icons were used with a combination of blue color added into the theme where appropriate.
