I honestly don’t know what this is. The photo was taken in the reptile house of the Dallas Zoo, but it wasn’t labeled as an actual exhibit and this thing was just floating around, mindlessly. Might’ve been dead..... (?)

Anyways, I really enjoy this photo even though the lighting was meh. It is  simple and fairly elegeant, which satisfied me in the end. :) It also looks realistic and authentic, which appeals to me as well. It’s definitely NOT the best photo I have taken, but it does have some fairly good qualities to it.

These were the lions at the zoo: there are two females (one who obviously isn’t pictured) and a male. The animals, including these lions, were extremely active, which shocked me. Only a few people were at the zoo that day since it was very rainy that day, but miraculously we didn’t experience a single drop of rain when we arrived to take photos. The lions would walk around, play with each other, and would make an occasional roar or growl. Not a single animal was asleep or inactive, which was extremely entertaining and successful for our project.
