Hawthorne is custom-tailored line of cologne that emphasizes—quite literally—the importance of balance. The process of shopping for Hawthorne is quite unique in that you are asked to fill out a series of prompts about your lifestyle and outlook before browsing any products. The result of the quiz is your custom tailored scent combination. Each set comes with two scents, one intended for each work and play. In developing the photo series to kick off the brand's launch, I played with the ideas of duality, harmony, and contrast. I kept the vibe sincere, simple, and dynamic to preserve an appeal to their masculine-skewing target demographic.
