The goal with rebranding was to individualize Academy (from other EF branded products) and to build an identity that feels strong, non-corporate, academic and distinct; an institution unto itself, built on trust derived from EF’s brand equity.
The shield, long a symbol of academic legacy, was redrawn and modernized to fit with our sensibility, incorporating the letters E and F as well as the slash from other EF product lockups. The brand now leads with the shield, which becomes the stamp of quality.
