Bushido
Samurai Jack is a brave and honorable samurai from the distant past trapped in a nightmarish future.
He is terrorized by his sworn enemy, the evil shapeshifting demon Aku. His quests revolve around going back to the past so that he may stop Aku once and for all.
CREATIVE PROCESS:
I'm inspired by Samurai Jack an American animated television series
created by Genndy Tartakovsky.
Me and my son love the show as I am able to impart values that he can easily understand while spending quality time with him. As a marital artist, I fully appreciate
the Code of Bushidō (武士道), a.k.a., "the way of the warrior" as it teaches geat values. Since the code has a strong presence in the Samurai Jack television series, it saves me from tons of explaining.
Samurai Jack's tattoo represents our constant fight against evil while his "AKU" tattoo represents ourselves as the real enemy that we need to battle with.
