Harveys paper products
We were asked us to assess and refocus the packaging design for Harveys paper products, to unify branding that had become splintered. To start we made subtle change to the logo to assist legibility. Simply moving the green category colour portion to the top right allowed the primary form to read as a lowercase h, while adding a small visual break between the two colours would work better across single colour applications.
Next we established a baseline sourced from current packaging then updated the typography, colours and layout to achieve a consistent design language across different products. The result was a clean style that could be predicatively rolled out on current and future paper products and other ranges.
The approved designs were then pushed through to finished artwork and at the same time we created 3D models and renderings in Foundry's Modo for use in ecommerce and marketing. Harveys were able to use these images in place of traditional photography while products were still in production. The images shown here are raw renders from Modo's native renderer with only a minor background cleanup.
