We were invitied by the NY Times to interpret their iconic T for the cover of T: New York Times Style Magazine. Although we needed to create only a single object for this project we wanted to stay true to our DNA. So we applied the same approach as we would for any product that needed to be easily produced en masse. This led us to employing our flat to folded methodology -- designing perforations to be cut in steel that could be bent to shape the T. An interplay of position and negative space results in a captivating pattern -- a serendipitous by product of the process.
