RISE OF THE EUROPAN

Enthusiasm emerged from the group discussions in Dryden for a collaborative anthology, which eventually settled upon a pivotal moment in the Dryden Universe, when a lifeform living beneath the icy surface of Jupiter's moon Europa forcibly expelled a destructive humanity from its world. The fruit of this instance was the novel RISE OF THE EUROPAN.
Whilst authors Damian Roache, Daniel B. Hunt, Don Van Ausdoll, Eugene Kelly, Kitty Sarkozy and Tracy Vincent grappled with the idea of telling this adventure with stories which intertwined to a greater or lesser degree, I was handed the task of creating the cover art and layout. It was completed using Adobe's Photoshop CS6 and InDesign CS6.
With the artwork finished it just remained to create the cover layout. In sympathy with the writing process this was opened up to group discussion, which afforded me the opportunity to have a play with a few layouts prior to finalising for publication (see a couple of samples below).

Social Media Campaign
I created social media advertisements for the book, released on the major platforms, both prior to and after its release, in the form of a conventional splash poster design and smaller teaser images based upon extracts from the various stories within.
