For some years, I have been developing a project that tries to explore different ways of representing the fundaments of musical harmony through geometric paper toys. The different ways in which scales and chords interact in musical harmony can be visualized through geometry, based on the relationships between musical intervals and translating them into geometrical proportions.
In February of this year I presented this project as my thesis in the Typography class at the HGB Leipzig, closing this cycle after 4 years studying at this university. However, the project is still under development and some of the pieces/toys are now available as a prototype for those interested in exploring and better understanding some principles of musical harmony in an alternative and visual way.
