When I set out to make my images, I wanted to do something Halloween themed. I wanted to make an icon set based on famous monsters in various movies. I had a lot of choices, but ultimately, I chose the Invisible Man, Freddy Kruger, Jason Vorhees, Pennywise, the Xenomorph, and finally the Predator. These are some of my favorite monsters, and I thought it would be fun to try and create some designs based on their images.

My first attempt was... bad. Even when I turned them in, I knew something was wrong, but I couldn't figure out what it was. Luckily, I had some great feedback to work with and my finished project looks much better.

In my draft, the lines were too thin, there was a lot of trapped space, and I shouldn't have left the bottom flat. I have rectified all of those things with my final draft. I also found that the more detail I added, the worse it looked. I removed some of the finer details, like Freddy's mouth and the Alien's tail, and tried to go for something bigger and rounder. I also removed some of the bandages from the invisible man to make it clearer that he is invisible underneath. Finally, I also added shadows to create more contrast between the head and the body.
