Gone Fishing
From the East to the West, sun-up to sun-down, fishing along the shores of New York.
Most are caught too small and released back in the hopes of catching them again next year. But it's often not about the catch, it's the release from the madness of life. Within seconds they are back with nature - the water, the waves, the wind - washing away the stress of the day. Friends become family in this solitary group. They fish together, tell their stories, but most stand in waiting of the next big catch. Meditating and watching for the pull on the line or the ring of the bells for those lost in their thoughts. There is happiness and care even for the little ones, and laughter when it's nothing but a car part. This is life.

"Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after."  ~Henry David Thoreau
