The project was a full urban plan for the town of POBLENOU in the city of BARCELONA.
Following a group work analysis and urban planning my main intervention was a mixed use building in the historic land of LA ESCOCESSA: an artist hub. The main idea was to create an equilibrium with the historic building, and to integrate a public multi-functional space for all!
The project itself was a self-sustaining lung, a sponge that absorbs light and wind creating a poetic use of light, and a natural ventilation in motion.
The elevation treatment declared a floating mass, freeing the view from all sides to the residents and visitors of this project.
