Tiara / Crown
Inspiration: Serbian medieval ornaments
Serbian medieval ornaments were inspiration for this artwork. They are usually
decorating edges of frescoes in the monasteries and churches. One
ornament in particular served me as inspiration for designing a new artistic
and wearable object. There were no other rules but to use the ornament in
a way to stay recognizable. I made a head piece / crown and used brass
for material. I designed crown to be full of interlaced ornament and adapted
it in a way to make a complete product.
