UX Challenge: Design Sprint

UX Challenge:
redesign of
AppCutter Dashboard
in a 2 day reverse
Design Sprint
1. SCOOPING UP
The first step of the sprint was to know the company and the product. In this way we could define stakeholders, value proposition, use cases, scenarios and the to-be (ideal) user experience.
The product was a dashboard that allows you to view information and charts related to cyber attacks received to your own apps. After trying it, we started to identify problems and critical issues.
This was the dashboard presented by the company.
2. USER TEST
We have subjected users to different tasks in order to identify further problems and confirm those already found. User testing consists of an A/B test, tasks analysis, an interview (to bring out further opinions) and two surveys, one focused on the cognitive flow and the other one on the user experience.
In addition to usability, we have decided to evaluate the contexts of use of the product. However, the timing of the challenge did not allow us to carry out an analysis based on the Contextual Inquiry.
3. IDEATING
Based on our studies and user tests, we have identified the main issues of the product. We have carried out brainstorming to devise and define the best redesign solutions. By accepting the needs of the company and taking into account the actual implementation of the code, we were able to create wireframes and create a new information architecture.
4. PROTOTYPING
Therefore, we have created a prototype that shows concretely the solutions, the new data architecture and also the redesign of the dashboard graphics.
5. TUNE and DELIVER
Finally, we presented our work to the company and to a public conference.
