LUZ (Portuguese, feminine noun) meaning light
The concept for LUZ surrounds ideas of identity and shape in relation to space. It plays these concepts surrounding innovation, design and animation. This approach provides a link between a functional everyday object and the possibilities it creates by placing it in the illustration world. The lamp models create harmony or contrast among the environment they exist upon and the animations carry an ironic style that transmit a sense of character and personality.
This project was developed to incorporate the BA Illustration Degree Show '18 when finishing my undergraduate studies.
