Hello ♥

I drew these illustrations during Inktober 2017. This is one of my favorite series of works.

Illustrations are drawn on A5 pages. For work, I usually use large sheet formats, but for myself I take a small sketchbook. Here are some photos:

The paper in this sketchbook is very loose and the sheets are quite thick. This allowed me to use some watercolors to get interesting effects. And then use the liner.

I decided to come up with a character - a girl, to make a small series of works. Her name is Suvi. She lives in the forest, and she is also magical, because Suvi can be tiny, the size of a blade of grass, or as big as an ordinary girl.

By the way, Suvi is a Finnish name. And means "summer". I love Finland.

I printed postcards with these illustrations. The illustration with Suvi and ravens was the most popular with my audience.

Inktober uses a list of topics for a whole month, but I didn't post all the works in this project. Because only some of them represent this series, with the same characters and in the same technique.
