RCKLSS EP COVERS
This Commission was set by the Band RCKLSS from Brighton, where they commissioned me to revamp, design and develop Song Covers for EPs, (Electronic Plays) for their Spotify. So the main concept behind the covers is to reflect the bands genre of music being Hard Pop. By having each cover represents a form of reckless destruction but it a more colourful tone . Sort of mixing dark tones with light vibes, by having each cover represents a form of destruction or forms of recklessness.

The So Cynical album cover was made to look like a broken chain fence reflecting the idea of Cynical being the definition of broken trust as well the wall behind the fence to emphasis the guarded nature of being Cynical. Also the band wanted me to incorporate a few lyrical easter eggs into the design so I made my own font for the band and had the lyrics look engraved onto the metal chain links.
RCKLSS Helium Cover, this can be found on Spotify as of the 1st of September 2018
Helium was designed to look like a shattered mirror with idea of mirror being able to reflect light and having the a few subtle colours in design to reflect the music video that the band has produced with bright coloured powder paints.
RCKLSS Animals Cover, this can be found on Spotify as of the 31st of October 2018
The cover for Animals was designed to look like a rusty sheet of metal being clawed, and in the red rust kinda of colour there is a subtle zombie like skull also linking to this tracks music video being very zombie inspired.
RCKLSS Tell You Cover, this can be found on Spotify as of the 10th of December 2018
The cover for Tell You was designed to look like a ripped piece of crumpled up paper with having hand present to show the ripping effect with cover reflecting the song being super pumped and edgy, then towards second half be very simple and laid back with a visual of one of the lyrics of the song.
Here is the very first useable font that I developed along side the latest commission for the band by creating their very own typeface to be used on all the promo materials, that captures the bands style of music Hard Pop by being design in a style thats both rebellious and fun.
