NDW is born out of the Dudhwala legacy - a legacy spanning more than 5 decades of trust. This is a company that has started on a new journey.
We were approached by IdeaSpice to tell the brand story for NDW. Even though it has a long history in real estate, they needed to establish themselves as a new entity.
The new branding and tag line is ‘Better by design’. Their focus is not just on ambitious projects but also in the details of the space they develop. This is the story of a young, audacious real estate company with deep roots & high goals.
The cornerstones for the brand were :
We needed to derive the script from the vision and legacy of the brand. Most real estate companies have a limited vocabulary with focus remaining on the architecture, layouts or family bonds that it helps. We wanted this to remain open ended and not speak about real estate in direct terms.
We helped identify how design intervention separates NDW from the rest. The small details in design, make life easier.
The design for the film had to stand out from the clutter and also be able to adapt later when the brand would need to include project photographs and information. A single minimalist illustration was developed which would create schematics of the various 'NDW worlds' that could come up over time.
We suggested an approachable and minimalistic tone which could grow with the company. The design of every frame needed to reflect that tone.
Life being was visualised as a maze through which we must traverse and succeed. We are freed from that maze through better inclusive design.
The film language needs to be clean and minimalistic and still be emotive and engaging
The Animatic is the brief we gave the animation team. This kept our work streamlined, focused and lead to a quicker turn around.
