SPACE TYPE GENERATOR _v.field
SPACE TYPE GENERATOR is a series of tools that allows users to create forms out of type. Coded in Processing and using a variable type called Lofi Mono, each generator is based on a simple shape (cylinder, torus, plane, sphere, etc) that offers the user a range of parameters to tweak. These variables can be linked to sine/cos waves to create undulating animation loops.
The v.field version plays with large blocks of type arranged in a standard block but allows the user to tweak basic parameters like tracking and type size as well as more dynamic parameters like three-dimensional waves and stacked squiggles.

SPACE TYPE GENERATOR _v.field.perlin
_v.field.perlin allows users to apply a random Perlin noise value to Euler angles, depth, and scale. The direction and scale of the Perlin noise can also be adjusted and animated.

SPACE TYPE GENERATOR _v.field.ribbons
This iteration combines the ability to tweak the Y-axis spacing and Z-rotation with a linear element to create stacks of ribbons.

SPACE TYPE GENERATOR _v.field.withMark
Designer Mark Chan was generous enough to let me borrow his variable type to use in my generators. Unlike my very crude stroke based Lofi Mono, Mark's type is much more robust and allows for some really great variation in weights.
