Teatro Bandido is a company established in the city of Porto and founded in 2009 by the joint interest of ESMAE finalists. The identity was designed in order to reflect theatrical new languages and objects that were lurking from the shadows and now aim to establish a more intimate relationship between the artistic and social environment.
We draw a gun to emphasise a shot, that is to say the action of a powerful object hitting us without warning. The combination of the gun’s illustration and a raw typography with sharp cut edges are both symbols of a innovative and rebellious brand. Upon the desire of a great impact, we developed the identity cards and mail envelopes as well as various merchandising products, from paper cups, card badges, t-shirts to popcorn boxes.
