Dagaa is a line of healing products made of the plant Devil's Club, Hoplopanax horridus. This plant has served as a healing source for centuries to the native peoples of Southeast Alaska, Western Canada, and the Pacific Northwest. Almost every part of the plant has some healing power or another: the roots, the bark, the leaves, and the berries. But harvesting it comes with a cost, as its stem and leaves are covered with noxious spines.
The logo and label design were inspired by art of the native people's in Alaska, especially the Tinglit and Haida. See example above.
