Avoca is a family-run business and an internationally successful retail brand renowned for its clothing, textile and food labels. As such, the need was identified for a promotional piece outlining the company’s ethos, history, quality and product range to attract prospective wholesale customers, in a manner that was fitting to the organisation. Brand essence and integrity are key tenets of the Avoca approach, along with a decided Irishness and a quirky flair. It was imperative that the design solution for the catalogue preserved these characteristics and clearly conveyed the spirit of the brand to potential customers.
In response to these requirements, Image Now developed a catalogue that showcases the history and future of the Avoca brand. With a strong sales objective, the design solution is engaging, colourful and clearly portrays the company’s ethos. Photography and illustration are central to the design approach and Image Now sourced, commissioned and art directed a photo shoot for the piece. Images range from panoramic landscapes to intricate details and unconventional perspectives.
