Interactive Landing Page For New GTBank Website Launch
Upon launching a new look for the GTBank website, I realised a need for something that introduced returning visitors to the new look and feel, preparing them for what they have always known but in a totally new experience.
This landing page is also designed to attract new visitors of the website by introducing what GTBank offers with their technological frontier innovations.
The entire experience of this landing page is inspired by the panels in a comic book. Each screen is presented as a frame which in real life summarises an action sequence to just a still picture. I added animations to the scroll interaction to guide a visitor with seeing the action sequence lead to the next panel that gives another narrative.
After launch, It gained good feedbacks considering the bounce off rate of 20% of the site visitors who didn't scroll to the end.
The lesson learnt here; unless it's not Instagram where people scroll infinitely for hours on toilet seats (lol), It can be shorter with fewer scrolls.
