Life of Culture — Branding & Website

Designing is all about new points of view!
The communication design idea behind Life of Culture(#loc) by
@alexkavdas is all about his point of view for life,
culture & how things can be versatile & viewed from different playful perspectives.

A point-line-plane logo, in which "o", the point, stands as a REC symbol for a video based brand,
becomes a "see-through" opportunity on the business cards and a drop cap opening the site's articles.
Envisioned through typography, the eye symbol, which stands for Alex's view on things,
was created using the acronym as seen on the logo. Its colour spectrum,
including vibrant hues of purple and green as well as muted yellow, skin and charcoal grey,
makes room for all kinds of feelings and life experiences to be expressed through consistent and adaptive branding.

*Alex works in the media, collaborating with magazines, TV and radio stations, mostly with Greek franchises of international media giants
(Vogue, MTV, Dancing with the Stars i.e.). He was the Greek brand manager of DailySecret.com, the first newsletter in Greece,
which also gained international success. He has also trained and performed as an actor in theatre, television and cinema.
Travelling is one of his passions, be it with company or by himself, in foreign lands or local destinations, inwards or outwards.
