The Concept
This poster was made possible with data from the World Health Organization (WHO) that I analyzed for my design execution. I wanted to show the journey of money, used for contraception purchase, from donor nations to developing countries.
After numerous back and forth I went with the idea of sperm cells traveling to the ova as a metaphor for the transfer of funds from the organization of a donor nation to a country or region in need of donations. The concept centred around STI’s, family planning and reproductive health. There is also the tongue in check implication of the ‘sperm donor’ persona.
