Rockwell Typography

Rockwell Typography

Introduction:
Rockwell was designed by the Monotype Corporation, lead by Frank Hinman Pierpont. It is a slab serif that was modeled after the 1910 font Litho Antique. Rockwell includes nine different variations including italics, different weights, and condensed versions. Some characteristics of this font are flat top-serifs and an unusual Q tail. Rockwell is mainly used for display and headings rather than body type.

Final
In this project, we wanted to incorporate the Rockwell typeface with many different font sizes and spacing. We chose the colors to represent the country flag becuase the Monotype Corporation was a British company.
