Clue Typography - Colonel Mustard

Reflection

For this project, I had to create a typographically interesting word, phrase, or lyric by hand from physical objects.

We drew materials randomly from an envelope, and I got "condiments you would find on a hamburger". My first thought was: "Oh my gosh, I can do Colonel Mustard!" Somehow over the course of my life, I've become a collector of Clue games, so this project worked out perfectly!

I actually "accidentally" (not accidentally) acquired a new Clue game during this project. See, I thought I had a normal game of Clue here at college. Turns out I only had my Rick and Morty version, so I wound up going out and getting a new one (on sale! Woohoo!). I then put plastic wrap over it and got to work. The only problem I ran into was the glare from the plastic wrap. I removed it in Photoshop, then changed a few board colors to make my words stand out more.

Through this project, I learned that plastic wrap glares terribly. I also learned how to change specific colors in Photoshop, and that angles are everything. Honestly, I had a lot of fun and may make a series out of this!
