KEN X KEV COLLAB

I asked CONCRETE's the outstanding art director and photographer Kendrick Rudy Dettmers to do a collaboration with their new line of clothing and he said let's do it!! Me and Kendrick always wanted to work together and see what exciting project we can make. We start off simple by taking Kendrick's out of this world photography and combining with my illustrations. During this time I was still learning to use to Procreate making letter and I wanted to use this opportunity to get out of my comfort zone.

Beyond Design Thinking:

This was a collaboration between me, Kevin Rooi and Kendrick Rudy Dettmers. I created cultural patterns and illustrations on top of editorial fashion style photography to provide a more exaggerated expression for the clothing, or model. The digital illustrations are created via iPad, and range from illustrations to filled in the blank shape that gives the pieces an almost empowering appearance.
