Decoding The Genres is a self-initiated project with purpose to demystify and explain history of one of the most important but underrated music genres today. It is not oriented on popular music but more on the other — underground side which constantly inspires and transforms global culture. The idea is to present it in a form of the magazine with each issue serving genres from certain era. The purpose is to document mutual influence between the genres and to highlight some of the most important names and events in underground music history.
