Another View of the Familiar
Taking my private space, my room, as the point of origin I describe it in two ways as follows. First as a series of pictures taken with my camera (pictorial language). Second as words enumerating the objects that are in my room (natural language). I combine the two descriptions using a Processing sketch I wrote which basically uses the color information of the pictures and the shape of the words from the description as the building blocks for the newly created view of my space. The image that is created from the Processing sketch is continually changing spilling out words and colors.
