‘saigon - a blast nostalgic’ is my graduation project from the London College for Design & Fashion. as a Saigonite living in Hanoi, homesickness is always a melancholic rain away. five years ago I came across a pre-75 Saigon rock ‘n’ roll mixtape and immediately got hooked.
the project consists of a music book design, sound & found footage video collage displayed on an installation piece, all inspired by Vintage Saigon.
the book is hand-stitched, with a heat press printed and screen printed hardcover.
the project has since been exhibited at Inpages Saigon.
