Personalized ex libris collection №04
Bookplates

Maybe it's not easy to believe that we are designing any other thing than bookplates, but we receive so much commissions that we have gathered our fourth ex libris collection now. Our hearts are full that there are so many of you in this digital world who likes to read and loves books. We also love this kind of activity and we hope that we can design these little symbols for you for a long time.
You can check all of our ex libris stamps ➝ on our website

This crow is designed to mark the first edition (editio princeps) of a horror/weird fiction themed book, which will be a collection of short stories. He is wearing a crown made of roots, and turning the first page of the book, to introduce usto the world of horror novels.

The frame says something about Anna's family: she is the proud daughter of a wood carver in Florence, while the picture recalls the idea of steadiness, a value she strongly believe in. To express it, we used the latin phrase “gutta cavat lapidem” means “Dripping water hollows out stone, not through force but through persistence.”

Ex libris for Antoine Briane. He wanted an ex libris which reflects his taste for reading and traveling, classical adventures and stuff. He asked a single rectangular flag behind the boat in which he can write the year or something with a pencil.

Ex libris Elena, the "Hiano". Elena loves riding horses and playing the piano so we combined her favourite things into one picture.

Ex Libris for Jacopo & his entire Family ♥ The whale is the head of the family, accompanied by the strong and caring walrus. The two little ones represent the pair's two children.

This little piglet ex libris is for Kata, who loves pigs very much, small and big ones aswell. She also uses this stamp to mark geocaching notebooks when she visits a new spot.

Everything that is rolling, therefore bicycles and especially downhill riding is László's passion, so we composed a picture of it into the shape of Szeged, which refers to his surname.

Ex libris for Dominic and his partner. They would like something that incorporates a stag with a fox around a black heart. It’s to represent a union between himself and his partner. More illustrative of their independence as powerful creatures, but somehow intertwined - they feed each other’s desires, and encourage growth.

Ex Libris for Warnaars who is proud of his heritage, hence the lion from their family's coat of arms and he enjoys to use his creativity in his work in the new media industry.

Ex libris for a newly married couple. The wifey works in the emergency department of a hospital in New York and the hubby is a director.

Ex libris for Gábor Csikós. He wrote a story about a young viking who killed a dragon, but noone believed him. The viking then decided to leave his clan, and never returned, but we don't know what happened to the dragon either. Maybe they became companions?

Mark is a writer and his ex libris isn't only made for personal use but he applies it in a limited artist's edition of his novel. His work has been interested in geometry, he also likes sci-fi and cosmic stuff therefore stars are warmly welcome in this black tesserract-padlock that at the same time contains an unsolvable task: opening it.

Anne Greeley loves art history, literature, and Mediterranean culture, embodied in the form of Ariadne, based on Giorgio di Chirico's interpretation.

This ex libris stands for a whole family, religion is a very important matter in their life. Colomer means dove and Flores means flowers. The old lemon tree is representing the family with 7 branches as the children, and 19 fruits as the grandchildren.

The stamp is totally based on Gábriel's idea: a little mediterranean village where we see the rooftops at dawn in the foreground, mountains and stars in the background, a crane at the sky, and an angel that is currently reading. All these have symbolic meanings in his life. He wasn't surprised that this stamp got a bit larger than usual!

Thank you for your attention!
