The aim of the project was to retrofit the territory of the former brewery into a multipurpose environment. A new educational cluster plays the dominant role and occupies the historic building of the brewery. The complex also includes a number of small offices, a hotel, and several apartment houses. Two stylobates are carved into the steep hillside providing the basis for the new apartment houses with courtyards. Inside the stylobates there are parking spaces, offices, and shops. This helped to separate public spaces from the semi-private life of the would-be inhabitants. The boulevard along the prospective housing estate nearby and the new profile of Kyrylivska Street are expected to improve the overall situation with public spaces in the neighbourhood.
