The goal of this competition was to make a design that wouldn’t be too different from the original Bottas’s current helmet. 

Also to keep the blue and dark colors was other of the requests. 

Important was to keep the designated sponsor areas in the original places to. 

So considering all that, I made this new design that shows more dynamic lines, as well a better color mixing. 

Always thinking in the original design, I “played” a bit with the colors and shapes so to be created an abstract Finish flag, that gives to the driver a design with more identity (as he was born in Finland).   

I also design a new graphic element for the helmet: the Logo VB77 (check it here).
