BEHIND THE SCENE
Shooting Football celebrities is a specific process. Usually it is very fast, we have the player for 3 hours and this time we have 2 campaigns to shoot : World Cup and Puma One or Future depending on player. For each campaign we have 4 actions shots and 10 portraits. Each action shots is for a specific format : horizontal, extreme horizontal, vertical, extreme vertical.
To be able to do this work, we do a prelighting day and rehearsal with a body double football player and choreographer specialized in sport and football.
The day of the shooting has to be flawless. I have around 5 minutes for each action. Pressure but exciting...
We shoot players in studio and the background plates were shooted in Monterrey, Mexico where there is a very nice stadium. In studio we have to install every time a turf so the player can run with the football boots. We have also a goal cage when they kick the ball. Believe me, those guys kick hard !!
