This is the original logo of Wide Mind Wellness. The client wanted me to chose a new color scheme and to update the style to be more inviting.

This is one of the first Ideas that I came up with. I wanted to keep some of the aspects of the original with the W and M being represented in the triangles. 

This example was an experimentation from the last logo because I felt it needed to feel more finished and closed off.

I also played with the idea of using an illustration of the owner's beard because it is pretty epic.

This is the final logo that the client chose. They wanted to keep the idea of the original eye to bring a sense of widening your mind. I felt that a simple illustration like before was very daunting and unwelcoming.
