Drawing the stencil on card paper which will be used to emboss the design into Bristol.

Beginning to cut out the stencil. I had to really think about how I was going to do this to make sure I didn’t accidentally cut something I shouldn’t have. I wrote the word “cut” inside every piece that needed to be cut out.

Finished stencil, all pieces cut out.

Beginning to emboss. I laid the Bristol on top of the stencil, taped them both to a glass coffee table, and then shone a light from below so that I could see the stencil through the Bristol.
