Commissioned by the urban landscape design bureau POSAD (Spatial Strategies) and "Stuurgroep Zuidwestelijke Delta", I made a series of landscapes of a large area in the south of the Netherlands called the Southwest Delta. These landscapes are combined in the Atlas of the Southwest Delta. The atlas is used by various agencies to gain insight into the changes in the delta.

 

The Southwest Delta is formed by the delta waters, islands and the coasts of the south-west Netherlands. The unique area includes the Province of Zeeland, the western part of the North Brabant and the islands of South Holland.

 

The Southwest Delta is a unique area in the Netherlands, with a unique culture and a wide range of special landscapes and architecture. The photo series not only illustrates the complexity of the area, but also the beauty and diversity.
