The Seven Hills School

Goal
As the Seven Hills School entered the final, year-long public phase of a $20-million dollar capital campaign, they needed a little bit more help to reach their goal. The campaign microsite would serve as the hub for sharing successes and accomplishments of the school and its community.

Process
Through conducting interviews with the Seven Hills staff and community influencers, we were able to make the best decisions about content. Through research and some user testing, we were able to prioritize the information that the community would find most important to emotionally connect the campaign back to their pride for Seven Hills.
Below you will see some initial information architecture, white-boarding of design and content decisions, and then final wireframes for the microsite.

Challenges
Seven Hills was in a particular interesting time for their communications and identity. They were finishing up a design audit with a new identity and brand guidelines quickly going public. The campaign was originally built off of their previous branding, but the public phase campaign was rebranded to be more in line with the new brand. With the life span of the public phase of the campaign I knew it was important to keep what was already established, but start to show design cues of what will come.

There were many challenges when it came to move the design into production, but with a developer no longer available and with a deadline looming, I decided it was best that I would design the website in browser through their CMS, Wordpress, and Bootstrap.
