RECREATIONAL INTERFACE PROJECT
Matiu/Somes Island is an Island located in the middle of the Wellington Harbour in New Zealand. Matiu Island needed an application to introduce a younger target audience aged from 12 - 18 to visit the Island as the main visitors are tourists and elders. We have implemented a plant and animal scanner to educate the young users of our app about the animals on the island. We have also included a map and ferry timetable and Māori translations on every page to represent the Māori culture present on the island.
