Concept museum
Upcycling is a way of reusing items and reducing waste by salvaging waste materials and giving them a second life. The Museum of Upcycling is a concept museum that exposes a community to a showcase of real sustainable solutions through exhibits in three major subcategories: home decor, fashion, and art installations. In addition the proposed museum would host community events and would feature opportunities to participate and get a tactile understanding for the craft.

Promotional posters, tutorial booklet, interactive self-mailer, gift bags, out-of-home advertising, and entrance tickets.
Poster Series
The tongue-in-cheek city-wide poster series feature trash in a new light and encourages the audience to help clean up the city with creative upcycling projects.
Event Invitation
Fold-out event invitation that lets the user know what to bring to the craft event and features the city-wide poster on the back.
DIY Project Book
This upcycling project book would be handed out during the craft event and features three easy do-it-yourself upcycling projects to try at home.
Interactive Self-Mailer
This interactive trifold self-mailer features separate panels that encourage experimentation and reveal different faces made from trash parts. The panels tear off to become coupons, future event invitations, and bookmarks.
Upcyclable Gift Bags
Gift bags feature the same upcycled wrapper textures on the inside as on the entrance tickets, and origami fold-lines on the front. The bags can be upcycled into different origami shapes.
Street Banner Series
City-wide street banner series featuring original trash characters that highlight the second life of all waste materials.
Entrance Tickets
Tickets feature an upcycled wrapper design on the back and a puzzle design on the front that encourages users to keep tickets past their one-time use.
