iPad application prototype
Role: User Experience, and Visual Design

I had a lot of fun designing the prototype for the popular online magazine that showcases architecture, design and interior projects: Dezeen.

The user interface features a slideshow, giving focus to priority content with full bleed images accompanied by social media sharing tools, and user comments. Keeping on brand with Dezeen's minimal interface, navigation menu appears on tap with subcategories sliding down vertically.
The homepage presents a full bleed image belonging to the blog´s latest post. Users scroll down to view the most recent posts, or can sort and view by main or sub-category.
Blog entry thumbnails
A unique thumbnail navigation is built around a net of squares, inspired by geometry so often featured in Dezeen articles. The structure then lays the thumbnails over a 3D shape, creating a rolling, multi-dimensional effect when scrolling rapidly.
Article visualization
The blog entry uses an expandable image slideshow, with quick-share links for social media and comment systems. Related product advertisements appear beneath recommended and related articles.
