⟪reaction resulting from a state of exasperated constraint⟫
This is how I would describe the attitude of wild nature taking back its place between concrete and artifice.
This has been classified as the Third Landscape by landscape architect Gilles Clement.
My project started out by the desire to make a series of photos capable of expressing the sense of neglect expressed dictated by this, often invisible, urban greenery.
However, during the actual development I realized that I didn't really want to focus the photographic work on the state of neglect, but rather on the fact that this vegetation may constitute a new world, silent but present that wants to emerge from the austere clutches of human artifice to be noticed by an attentive eye.
Making this way a sort of unconventional botanical collection, where even the most minute and apparently irrelevant of subjects manages, through photography, to acquire its own importance emerging from the indistinct mass of the metropolitan flora.
In each photographs more or less dense with light atmospheres do justice to this neglected reality, sharing the constant presence of what we call the Third Landscape.

⟪reazione conseguente a uno stato di esasperata costrizione⟫
È così che descriverei l'atteggiamento della natura selvaggia che si riprende il suo posto tra cemento e artificio.
Ciò è stato classificato come Terzo Paesaggio dal paesaggista Gilles Clement.
Il mio progetto è partito dal voler realizzare una serie di scatti capaci di esprimere il senso di abbandono dettato da questo, spesso invisibile, verde urbano.
Tuttavia durante l’effettivo sviluppo mi sono resa conto di non voler realmente incentrare il lavoro fotografico sul degrado suscitato, bensì sul fatto che questa vegetazione possa costituire un mondo nuovo, silenzioso ma presente che vuole affiorare dalle grinfie austere degli artifici umani per essere notato da un occhio attento.
Arrivando così a realizzare una sorta di raccolta botanica, anticonvenzionale, dove persino il più minuto ed apparentemente irrilevante dei soggetti riesca, attraverso la fotografia, ad acquisire una propria importanza emergendo tra la massa indistinta della flora metropolitana.
In ogni fotografia atmosfere più o meno dense di luce rendono giustizia a questa trascurata realtà, accomunate entrambe dalla presenza costante di quello che chiamiamo Terzo Paesaggio.
