This armour is my interpretation of "power dressing"; in this particular instance using the illusionary power of the stiletto.
Few Objects allude to the eroticism of the female more than the stiletto heel. Its very existence is counterintuitive: hindering the wearer and making them more vulnerable, yet it has become a sign of empowerment, and even used as a weapon of femininity. 
This installation questions the use of something vulnerable in creating something aggressive. What one might think suppresses the wearer is instead be used defend oneself.
