To commemorate the university's 175th anniversary, professors across campus got together to write a list of 175 "must-read" books. My illustration shows Jesse Hall and the historic Columns astride a giant book; text in the trees and a roaming tiger add some whimsy. Copies of the poster were mailed to every high school library in the state, and an accompanying web page was created with links to summaries and cover art.
