Nostos, refers to an ancient Greek literary theme that features an epic hero’s homeward journey from sea. The film portrays nostalgia; the sense of longing for the past and its sentimentality. I was inspired to create ‘Nostos’, as a personal recollection of an inter-generational understanding, ignited by the stories and experiences passed down from my grandparents and mother that evoked feelings of yearning and wistfulness.
